Hi Kelly!!!!!!! I had no idea that you have a recipe blog! So fun! I just came across your old blog and saw that you had a notice to check out the newer one, so here I am! Is the fruitcake recipe really dense and moist or is it more dry? Just curious! I love a big old dense & yummy fruitcake. My favorite comes from the Collin Street Bakery, in Corsicana, TX. We used to get one every year fro Christmas.
it is really dense and moist. mel, it turned out SO well! i started out wanting to make fruitcake just for the tradition of it, but it's actually really delicious.
